Eaglets boss urge his boys to be hardworking

Head coach of the Nigerian U17 side Emmanuel Amunike has warned his wards to show commitment to serve the nation in the upcoming assignments of the Cadet side.
The former Nigerian international stressed on the need for his boys to be steadfast and be good ambassadors of their fatherland. He also warned them to sit-up or be shown the exit.

“We are not under any obligation to keep any player that would not be useful to us,” warned the ex-Barcelona winger.

“The reason we picked you amongst thousands is because we believe in you but it is now left for you to convince us that you can do the job”

The UEFA Pro-License Holder warned the players that they have an enormous task ahead of them.

''We must take routine training sessions and friendly matches seriously,'' he added.

SL10 reports, the Golden Eaglets are set to take part in a six-nation sub-regional West African Football (WAFU) Under-17 Tournament to be held in Togo between April 19 and 27.
Members of the Nigerian U17 team, the Golden Eaglets, have been warned that only merit would guarantee them a place in the national team.
The warning was handed down to them by ex-Barcelona star, and coach of the team, Emmanuel Amuneke.
