Uche Okagbue hoping to open a new chapter in his coaching career

Former Gabros International chief coach, Uche Okagbue hopes to open a new chapter in his football career after a turpsy-turvy 2012/2013 NNL season at the Nnewi side. The brilliant tactician was reportedly frustrated due to the financial constraint at the club.

Okagbue, is expected to lead Federal Road Safety Corps FC in the 2013/2014 season, with the club returning to the second tier division, after spending one year in the Nigeria Nationwide League (NNWL)

"I'm happy to be in Abuja and most importantly a team with a proper plan,"
Okagbue declared.

FRSC FC, whose training ground is at Keffi, have played 7 tune-up matches, winning 5 and being held to two draws. The are due to participate in the annual Abuja pre-season tournament, a competition designed to keep teams in the FCT fit for the new calendar year.

Okagbue, who understands the challenge in the second tier league in Nigeria said his main goal is to raise a team that can challenge for honours next season.
