Goals galore for Nigerians as season climax in Norway

John Chibuike and Leke James were on target for Rosenborg and Aalesund respectively on Sunday.

It was last round of matches at the Scandinavian region.

Chibuike's Rosenborg still had chances for the title ahead of the game, as they were just one point behind Stromsgodset, but Stromsgodset won their last game 4-0 and they are 2013 champions.

However Rosenborg players didn't know that during the match and they smashed Lillestrom 3-0 in an away game.

John Chibuike was able to score a brace, as he opened the score in the 7th minute and than settled the score in 72nd minute.

Lillestrom's Nigerian striker Freddy Friday made an appearance in the second half.

Rosenborg finished the season on 2nd place and next year they will play in UEFA Europa League qualifications.

Leke James also was on target, as his Aalesund ended season with a 2-1 away victory over Sogndal.

The Kaduna-born Nigerian striker scored in the 71st minute.

Aalesund finished the season on 4th place, just 2 points behind third placed Ugonna Anyora's Haugesund.

John Chibuike scored 9 goals this season in Norway, while Leke James bagged 10.
