Owner of Bako Football Club, Honourable Moses Nagogo Bako has appealed to the apex body of football in Nigeria (Nigeria Football Federation) to pay attention to the development of Female Football in the most populous nation in Africa.
The Chairman of Confluence Queens Supporters Club, made this known in a 1 hour phone chat with the Futbalgalore.blogspot.com.
He believes the nation is blessed with talented lads, capable of defeating anyone in the world of female football.
"My dearest Nigeria is blessed with players making waves abroad. The exploits of Ijeoma Obi in Belarus, Cynthia Uwak in Finland, Sarah Michael in Sweden and the big move of Desire Oparanozie to Wolfsburg is an attestation to the fact that talent abound in this country. Rachael Ayegba won the Finish Cup in the colours of PK-35.
"Evelyn Nwabuoku gained more admirers with her all-round show for Rivers Angels in the 2013 season, foreign agents are in dire need of our players and not to forget the emergence of Remilekun Omamuli, a youngster that will rule the world in the next five years, he said.
The sports loving administrator was sad at the way female football is handled in the country. He appealed for care and concern in the administration of NWFL, Super Falcons, Falconets and the Flamingoes.
"It's only in Nigeria that a coach will be named today and camp will resume the next day. Do you call that professionalism?
"On behalf of the stakeholders of the game, we are appealing to the governing body of Female Football in Nigeria to "save our soul", the Special Adviser to Lokoja Local Chairman on Sports Affairs appealed.
Honourable Bako, congratulated Bala Nkiyu and Ann-Agunmanu Chijienne on the qualification of Flamingoes for Costa Rica 2014. He begged Nigerians to support the U20 side, who are still in the race to qualify for Canada 2014.
"I'm using this medium to congratulate Bala Nkiyu and Ann-Agunmanu Chijienne, on the qualification of the U17 side for the 2014 FIFA World Cup. We must not forget to pray for Falconets too," he concluded.
