Swedish side Trelleborg, who have Nigerian striker Edward Ofere in their playing squad, have appointed Conny Karlsson as their new coach.
Karlsson will start his job next month, on December 1, and already has been tasked with the goal to promoting the team to Swedish second division - Superettan next year.
Karlsson won Swedish top division Allsvenskan back in 2011, he has also managed teams in Norway.
Trelleborg are currently third in Swedish First Division Södra (South), and have slim chances to secure a place in promotion play-offs to Superettan, as with only two rounds left, they have four points less than second-placed Oddevold.
Ofere has been on fire since he joined Trelleborg in July and scored 8 goals in 11 matches so far.
However he may not meet the new coach, as his contract with the Swedish club expires at the end of November.
