Give me the central role: Emenike cries out

Super Eagles attacker, Emmanuel Emenike has disclosed that his lack of goals in the first part of the season was caused by position on which he played in Fenerbahce.

The former Spartak Moscow forward was often utilised as a winger, a position he doesn't relish.

In recent times, the ex-Cape Town striker has played in his preferred position and has scored 3 goals in 2 last matches for Fenerbahce.

"If I play as a striker, I can get goals as expected. Right now, I feel very good and fit.

"Bursaspor and Galatasaray are our next two games, we will maintain our leadership by defeating them.” - said Emenike quoted by a reliable source.

Emenike's club are on top of the Turkish Super Lig with 22 points after 9 rounds of matches.
