Management of Akwa United have announced that 21 players who played for the Uyo-based team last season, will remain in the squad for the upcoming campaign.
Akwa United were close to having a feel of life in the Nigeria National League, but they survived after playing a one-all draw with Kwara United in Lokoja.
The club will resume training on November 12.
