Ex-Nigeria youth international Kazeem Yekeen has joined Bayelsa United ahead of the 2013/2014 Nigeria league season.
Goalkeeper Yekeen played for relegated Kwara United last season and told a reliable source that he has now agreed personal terms with the Yenegoa-based team.
"I am in Bayelsa United now, we have agreed terms. I am happy to be with the team. I am in Bayelsa for a new challenge and to achieve greatness," he told the source.
"I want to win the league and CAF Confederation Cup with this team and it is not beyond us."
He said it was a difficult decision to quit Kwara United.
"I will miss the Kwara United fans. The team is a very good side who give young players time and chance to blossom. They take good care of players, but I have to go and face new challenge,” he said.
“They really supported me and I can't forget the team because they make me who I am today."
He joined Kwara United in 2009/2010 season
