Flying Eagles midfielder ruled out of derby match

Flying Eagles midfielder, Michael Olaitan has damaged his hamstring and will miss two important matches - Greece's biggest derby between Olympiacos and Panathinaikos on Saturday and UEFA Champions League match against Benfica three days later.


Olaitan joined Olympiakos this summer and has scored two goals in six matches so far. Most recently he scored a goal in the Greek Cup two days ago.

The much talked about rivalry match could have afforded the Greek public to get a feel of the battle between Olaitan and Abdul Ajagun, who plays for Panathinaikos.
