Coordinator of the league, Futsal Worldwide Nigeria, Mr Moses Nwaze, disclosed that series of programmes have also been lined up to create awareness and introduce the game to the Nigerian youths while the league debuts in 2015.
“Futsal is a variant of the football game, created by FIFA for 5-a-side football, which focuses on technique, movement, tactical awareness, fitness and promotes quality touches to enhance skill and stamina of the footballer,” Nwaze said.
Futsal Worldwide Nigeria, owns the game's franchise in Nigeria and are prepared to launch the unique brand of football from 2015.
