The 22-year-old was in fine form last season at Albanian Super Liga side Laci, scoring 14 times in all competitions for the Albanian FA Cup Champions.
A close source to the player admitted on Tuesday 9th June that a move to the German Bundesliga 2 could be on the cards.
Scouts were on hand to watch Adeniyi net the winner in the Cup final Laci played against Kukesi on 29th May.
The source told News24: "Adeniyi is on his way to becoming a massive player. There were scouts from Germany watching him against Kukesi and they also observed him in the recently concluded season.
"Bochum have been looking at him for a few matches now. They seem to be very interested and have been in touch with his representatives.
With Bochum manager Gertjan Verbeek looking to strengthen his attacking options, the club could table a bid in the region of £0.5million for the former FC Robo and COD United striker.
