NNL: Tornadoes Edge Gombe To Maintain Top Spot In Group A2

Niger Tornadoes have moved to the top of Group A2 of the Nigeria National League after clinching a vital 1-0 win against Gombe United at the Bako Kontagora Stadium on Saturday afternoon.


The Abdullahi Biffo tutored side now lead the group ahead of Gombe United.

Bolaji Adeyemo scored the lone goal of the match in the 18th minute but Tornadoes' fan  owe their victory to their defence line who were solid to deny the away side any chance of finding the back of the net.

Tornadoes have 10 points from 4 matches, three more than rivals Gombe United.
