Crown Vows To Wreck Ikorodu United

Crown football club on Friday around noon stormed Lagos ahead of their Nigeria National League week six fixture against their trailing rivals Ikorodu United football club.

Captain Harrison Egbune said their mission in Lagos is to teach Ikorodu boys some football lessons, that Ikorodu United being a debutant in the league has shown some qualities that might make her a giant outfit in no distant time from now.

The sensational striker said that he won't allow them to debar his team from an immediate return to the elite division, that though Ikorodu is registering her name as a future giant but won't allow any move to shine past the Ajilete warriors come on Sunday.

Egbune stated further that though Crown is in Lagos to take full points against the homers but in no way will my team underrate the newcomers, saying that his soccer philosophy does not underestimate any team.

Meanwhile, the head coach of the team, Hakeem Busari, has advised his boys to make the full meal of Ikorodu boys by playing good football, that only good football can get results in Lagos that he knows.

He said, ''I'm a typical Lagos boy as you all know but only good football can get fine results from the centre of Excellence because of the concentrated hype typical of the State.

The gaffer made a passionate plea to the boys to display their skills, talents and expertise at Onikan Stadium on Sunday to concretize their sterling position on the league log.
