Rampant Ifeanyi Uba Hammer Elkanemi

Ifeanyi Uba FC unleashed an avalanche of attacks on Elkanemi Warriors to cruise to a 4-1 win at the Karkanda Stadium.

The visitors came out gun blazing in the game and had a blistering passage of play that yielded four goals for them.

They opened the scoring through their skillful winger Bright Onyedikachi in the 14th minute.

Three minutes later it was striker Solomon Eludi's turn to score after being the recipient of a pass from the edge of the box.

Onyedikachi completed his brace in the 62nd minute with an easy tap-in after he dribbled his way past four defenders and the goalkeeper.

Eludi will also complete his own brace too 20 minutes from time.

With four goals to the good, Ifeanyi Uba FC were in cruise-control and with Warriors yet to pose any threat to the defence.

Ibrahim Mustapha then scored a face-saving goal for the Borno Army.

Lions Vs Edubiase
Heart of Lions lacked the strength to cope with the form of New Edubiase at the Gyamfi Park where they lost 2-0 on Wednesday in the Premier League.

The Kpando side who had shown good form to hold Hearts of Oak over the weekend could generate the same performance as they went down.

Asiedu Atobrah got the opener for Edubiase before Nuhu Fuseini made it two-nil in the second half.

The win lifts Edubiase out of the bottom three.

In Wa, home team Wa All Stars managed a solitary 1-0 victory over Hasaacas.

Paul De Vries Asare gave the Blues the match winner in the first half to leave the Sekondi side in the relegation bracket.

At the Robert Mensah Stadium, a Francis Atuquaye header for Ebusua Dwarfs condemned King Faisal to a 1-0 defeat.

Medeama Vs Amidaus
Life after Hans Van Der Plyum continued with no worries for Medeama as they posted a 1-0 win over Amidaus Professionals.

The Dutch man quit his post this week following a poor start to the season by the Mauves.

But at the T&A Park, a first half goal by Samuel Nzemaba proved crucial for the Mauves against an impressive Amidaus side.

Medeama climb to seventh but remain 10 points behind leaders, Asante Kotoko going into match-day-9 of the season.

At the Agyemang Badu Park, a goal by Emmanuel Osei ensured that AshantiGold drew 1-1 with Aduana who had taken the lead from a first half penalty converted by Godfred Saka.

The result leaves the Miners still unbeaten in the league.
Hearts Vs Liberty
Hearts of Oak kept their chase for the top on course with an inspiring victory against Liberty Professionals to win the Accra derby.

The Phobians crushed their neighbours 2-0, scoring both goals under five minutes of the game at the Accra Stadium.

Eric Kumi scored the opener under a minute before Ruben Gnagne doubled their lead from the spot.

Liberty lifted their game but could not find the back of the net.

The win keeps the Phobians in seconds place and two points behind their rivals, Kotoko.

Inter Allies Vs Bechem United
Inter Allies finally breathe easy as they picked up their first win in their Premier League debut, defeating Bechem United in Tema.

After a run of seven straight defeats, the newly promoted side were 3-0 winners over Bechem, who came into Wednesday's game strongly following their giant-killing feat over Asante Kotoko on Sunday.

Frederick Agyemang opened the scoring for Inter Allies in the first half before Prosper Kassim added the second goal to hand them a two-nil lead going into the break.

Bechem's hopes of pulling a goal back in the second half was undone when Gokel Ahorlor scored the third goal to hand Inter Allies their first three points in the competition.

Despite their win, Inter Allies remain bottom of the table.

Kotoko Vs Chelsea
Asante Kotoko got back to winning ways with a hard-fought victory over Berekum Chelsea at the Baba Yara Stadium on Wednesday.

The Porcupine Warriors prevailed by a 2-1 win as they endured a difficult end to the match with the visitors pinning them to their own half for the equaliser.

Goals from Abdul Yusif Aziz and Yahaya Mohammed gave Kotoko a comfortable lead until Fredrick Turkson pulled one back for Chelsea.

In the final minutes, Kotoko were forced to retreat as the tide turned against them. Their defence had to do extra work to prevent Chelsea from finding the much needed goal.

And the final whistle by referee Daniel Laryea was welcome relief for Kotoko and their supporters as they still enjoy the summit going into the weekend's round of matches.

The win helps Didi Dramani's side to put behind them their loss over the weekend to Bechem United.
