Falconets Set For Camping

The technical handlers of the Falconets have invited more than 30 players for camping ahead of the 2016 FIFA U20 Women's World Cup Qualifiers against Liberia.


The squad is scheduled to report to the FIFA Goal Project Technical Centre on Monday 22nd June, in preparations for the first leg encounter scheduled to take place in Monrovia on 11th July.

According to leeks available to women football reporter, Ademetan Abayomi, the likes of Chinwendu Ihezuo, Chiichii Sandra and Aminat Yakubu tops the list of players invited by head coach of the team Peter Dedevbo

There was no much details on the team’s programme during the camp towards the qualifiers.

The Falconets will begin its quest for a place at the 2016 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup against Liberia next month.

Liberia got past Sierra Leone for the right to face Nigeria, which finished as runner-up at the last tournament in Canada.

The 2017 Women's U20 World Cup finals will be held in Papua New Guinea.
