Nigeria Striker Saviour Strikes Terms With Omani Team

Nigeria striker Saviour Fidelis has agreed a bumper two-and-half-year deal with Omani side Al Zafar, insiders close to the deal have told Futball Galore.

This comes few days after sources revealed that the ex-Enyimba International star was in talks with Zafar.

But close relatives of the player have revealed that the deal will be finalized after the medical and his free agent status was clarified.

This opens the door for other clubs to negotiate to sign the ex Kaduna United attacker if he fails the compulsory medical.

The Nigeria talented forward has been linked with several clubs in Albania, Belarus, Belgium, Sweden and Norway but nothing concrete has materialized.

Saviour refused to extend his expiring contract with Nigeria Professional Football League team FC Taraba as he seeks opportunities elsewhere to boost his career and possibly his earnings.

The ambitious Omani side Zafar have also signed some other talented players to boost their ranks.

The 26-year-old Saviour will boost their team as they seek to make a huge impact in the 2015 Omani League season.
