Orjinta was reported dead on New Year's eve by neighbours who had noticed his absence.
No other information surrounding his untimely death has been revealed.
Until his death, the no nonsense defender was a coach.
He was capped by Nigeria at full international level and posted a brief stint in Norway in his playing days.
The defender also won the CAF Champions League at Enyimba in 2003.
