Kogi-born Giwa FC number one goalkeeper Ojo Olorunleke has
said the Jos-based team must take advantage of their ruthless home form to
defeat Premier League champions Kano Pillars on
Wednesday.
Although the 2012/13 Nigeria National League winners lost
two-nil to Warri Wolves on Sunday, the shot-stopper feels the Abdullahi Biffo
side have learnt their lessons and are ready to fire on all cylinders against
Masu Gida at the Rwang Pam Stadium.
‘’After the setback at Warri Wolves we all resolved to prey
on Pillars, we shall make sure we make use of the passionate support of our
fans because winning is what the squad is used to,’’ the upcoming goalkeeper
told a reliable source in a short chat between 16:10h and 16:34h on Tuesday.
‘’We all worked hard in yesterday’s training and played to our
coaches instruction. I have a lot of respect for Pillars and I am certain that
the match will be tough, unpredictable and exciting for the neutrals to watch.
‘’Our expectations are high, the most vital thing for us
right now is to stay together as a unit and play very well in the midweek match,’’ the custodian stated.
