Arinze dedicates goal to Christ

Elkanemi Warriors pointman Obioma Arinze, has dedicated the league goal he scored in his club's 2-0 defeat of Lobi Stars to "Jesus Christ".
"Thank you Lord for the wonderful goal you gave to me today (Sunday) against Lobi Stars. I dedicate the goal to you Lord Jesus take all the glory," he wrote on his official facebook page (https://m.facebook.com/obioma.collinsarinze)

Arinze also said that the team is good enough to challenge for the league title.

"In recent matches we have been doing well and we hope to continue in that direction. We have a dream of winning the league title. We will continue to do our best.

"Initially the team struggled because of the new players, but recently we have struck a perfect understanding," the former Nembe City striker told a reliable source.

"With the kind of players and the calibre of coach (Yusuf Salisu) we have here, I don't think we should doubt our title ambition," he posited.

"If we play the way we did against Lobi Stars, then no one can match our firepower," he said.
