Giwa Football Club coach Abdullahi Biffo was happy to land his first win with the Jos-based team after Wednesday's 1-0 result over Enugu Rangers in the week 4 of the Globacom Nigeria Premier League.
The match played at the Rwang Pam Stadium saw Ocheme Edoh netting a first half strike much to the agony of the Flying Antelopes.
“That's probably the best we've played since I've been here and it's just about taking chances in front of goal,” coach Biffo began.
“A lot of our fans urged us to win because they wanted us to show that we have the machinery to cause a scare in the current season,” he continued.
"We knew we certainly couldn't afford to miss opportunities and I'm happy we scored at the right time,” he said.
“I dedicate this victory to the club's sole financier (Ambassador Chris Giwa), to all those who are close to me, the technical staffs, the players, and the fans of Giwa FC,” he said shortly after the slim victory at the Rwang Pam Stadium.
