Eagles striker fires blanks in the MLS, despite an all action display

Super Eagles attacker Obafemi Akinwunmi Martins aka Obagoal was on the pitch for 90 minutes, but not among the goals as Seattle Sounders played out a 1-1 draw against New York Red Bulls in a Major League Soccer game early on Monday.

The former Inter Milan deadly forward was all over the pitch with his usual pace and skills helping his team upfront.

The draw means that Sounders dropped into second place on the log behind Real Salt Lake, but both teams have 51 points, and Sounders have two games in hand.
