Solomon Owello provided two assists as IK Start overcame Tromso 3-2 at Alfheim Stadion on Sunday.
Start took the lead when Espen Hoff slotted in after an Ernest Ashante's shot had been parried.
The second half resumed with the former Niger Tornadoes showing guts and skills. His crisp pass set-up Bismark Acosta for Start's second goal, before he unselfishly teed up Matthias Vilhjalmsson to make the scoreline 3-0.
Two quick goals by the hosts, ensured that fans were at the edge of the seats in the last 10 minutes of the match.
IK Start ended up winning the match three goals to two, and Owello voted man-of-the-match.
