Appointments of Kogi United and Confluence Queens Management Teams Approved

Following the confirmation of his appointment as the Sole Administrator of Kogi United and Confluence Queens, Mallam Abdul Adama has approved the appointment of Mr Henry Ameh and Mr Owolabi David Ayo as Team Managers for Kogi United and Confluence Queens respectively on Thursday.

The approval of Mallam Abdul Adama as the Sole Administrator was conveyed in a letter signed by the Secretary to the Kogi State Government, Professor Olugbemiro Jegede yesterday.

Mallam Abdul Adama also approved the reinstatement of Mrs Alami Ibrahim as the Welfare Officer of Confluence Queens FC, while appointing Samuel Ahmadu, as his Media Assistant.

According to Mallam Adama, the appointments takes immediate effect.

The Sole Administrator charged Mr.Ameh and Mr.Owolabi to see to the smooth running of Kogi United and Confluence Queens' activities ahead of their respective upcoming season campaigns.

He urged the managers to take their jobs very seriously, with high sense of discipline and full loyalty, to ensure they form part of a larger cause for the successful transformation of the two teams and make the state proud.

He further tasked the team managers to begin receiving applications for coaching posts for the two clubs within the next one week, while emphasizing the need for impartial judgement in the process.

Until his appointment as team manager of Kogi United FC, Mr Henry Ameh was once a player, assistant coach of Kogi United and head coach of Idah United, while Mr Owolabi David returns as Confluence Queens’ team
manager.
