Kahramanmarasspor did enough to earn a goalless draw against Karsiyaka at Izmir Ataturk Stadyumu on Sunday.
The game featured the three top potent Nigerian weapons in the Turkish Division One League - Karsiyaka's Chikeluba Francis Ofoedu and Kahramanmarasspor duo Izu Azuka and Ganiyu Bolaji Oseni.
Ofoedu went closest for the hosts but his header was saved.
Oseni and Izuka also combined to set up one of their team-mates in the 59th minute, but to no avail. They both shot over for the away team.
Izu saw a header cannon back off the crossbar, with the flag already raised for offside.
A draw looked increasingly likely as the second half progressed with few notable chances.
Karsiyaka's Ofoedu, who looked sharp throughout the match had the brightest moment of the later stages, surging into the area from the right, but sent his lobbed effort just over.
Karsiyaka, now unbeaten in three, are 12th with 8 points from 6 games while Kahramanmarasspor are 19th with 2 points.
