EPL giants Manchester United have made an enquiry about Gareth Bale's availability - and been stunned by Tottenham Hotspur's asking price.


The English Premier League leaders have been left stunned by Spurs' £70million valuation of Bale.

The 23-year-old is perhaps English football's hottest property after some excellent performances for Andre Villas-Boas' Spurs side this season.His form has catapulted the White Hart Lane side to the third spot on the log.

The Welsh star has also been linked with Real Madrid, Inter Milan  and Barcelona.
