NIGERIA FEMALE LEAGUE REVIEW


Confluence Queens needed two quick goals to defeat visiting Nasarawa  Amazons 2-1 at the beautiful Confluence Stadium.The hosts have gained three points from a possible six.


In Osogbo,  jet lagged FC Robo couldn’t withstand the firepowers of Osun Queens.The Emmanuel Osahon girls put up a gallant show but lost two-nil.

Former female league champions  Bayelsa Queens put up an improved performance against Sunshine Queens.The Yenogoa lads scored two unreplied goals played in the interesting match.

CIA Angels forced visiting Rivers Angels to a thrilling two-all draw.Highly fancied Rivers were lucky to have escaped with a draw.

Tokas Queens were whipped 4-1 by Pelican Stars in Calabar.The hosts entertained their followers with some neat displays.It was no surprise that they won by  such a high margin.

Ineeh Queens scored a late goal to a earn three points against Standard Babes on Sunday.The win rocketed the Edo girls to third on the log.

The highest scoring game  was played in Abuja.Current Nigeria  Female League champions Delta Queens massacred  Shettima FC 8-0.The Asaba girls have netted  11 goals in the current season, an average of 5.5 per match.

Taraba Queens got a dose of female soccer with their successive loss in the NFL.They lost one-nil to Adamawa Queens.
