FRSC welcome trio back, as Taiwan talks tough ahead of DSS match

FRSC FC have been boosted by the return of key trio Cyril Olisa, Araba Nwabude and Donatus Edafe for their Nigeria National League week 9 home clash with DSS FC on Saturday.

However, head coach Uche Okagbue has warned they will not necessarily walk straight back into his starting line-up.

Team captain Araba, striker Edafe and reliable number one goalkeeper Olisa are all set to be named in Road Safety’s squad for the DSS clash, following their recovery from injuries and suspension.

But in-form midfielder Amos Daniel is expected to keep his place, after impressing in the two-nil loss to Kogi United last weekend.

Okagbue said: “With players like Araba, Edafe and Olisa coming back, people will wonder if I would discard majority of the squad that lost in Lokoja.

“What’s key is that you have to take your opportunity - if you do that, I’m a great believer that you stay there.

“But the addition of the extra players gives us an extra boost.

“We’ve been getting players back over the last two weeks, so would go into another league game stronger.”

Meanwhile, another promising player of the team, Onyeogwu Chizoba has warned DSS FC to forget about getting a result ahead of the clash in Keffi.

“Let them just come to our home ground and reduce the tally as we are too motivated to redeem our image on Saturday.

“The target is three points and no going back on that,” the player fondly called Taiwan told futbalgalore.blogspot.com on Tuesday via e-mail.
