Gunners back on top, Chelsea prevail at Carrow Road

Arsenal FC drew 1-1 at West Bromwich Albion FC on a day when Chelsea FC posted a hard-earned 3-1 win at Norwich City FC.

The Gunners subsequently displaced Liverpool FC on goal difference at the top of the Premier League after coming from behind at the Hawthorns. Claudio Yacob broke the deadlock on the stroke of half-time with a deft header before Jack Wilshere replied 18 minutes into the second half, his volley from outside the area deflecting past Boaz Myhill.

Meanwhile, the match at Carrow Road was just four minutes old when Oscar caressed the ball into the far corner. The home side rallied after the interval and drew level when Anthony Pilkington headed in. Chelsea responded by introducing Eden Hazard and Willian from the bench and reaped the rewards, both players finding the net within a minute of each other.

As for Tottenham Hotspur FC, they slumped to a 3-0 home defeat by West Ham United FC, while fourth-placed Southampton FC continued their fine form by beating Swansea City AFC 2-0.
