Confluence Queens’ one-two punch of Remilekun Omamuli and Ginika Ikeh
combined to score great goals last season, and they will be hoping to
replicate such form next season.
Remilekun gained recognition with an invitation to the Falcons team that twice lost to Japan twice in September, despite her age.
In a chat with futbalgalore.blogspot she expressed happiness at the olive branch extended to team mate, Ginika Ikeh in Bala Nkiyu's U17 squad, currently preparing for Costa Rica 2014 FIFA Women's World Cup.
"I was happy for Ginika Ikeh, who got a chance in the Flamingoes camp, it shows our coaches here (Oluwole Santana, Charity Enwere and Adamu Suleiman) are trying their possible best for us," she said.
The teenager also in the form of her life hopes her time will come in the U17 side too.
"Everything in life is all about time, I trust God to make things happen," she declared.
