Eagles ratings vs Atlas Lions

Chigozie Agbim 7
A more assured showing by the goalkeeper and skipper. He pulled off a couple of saves to keep his team in the reckoning. Not to blame for any of the Morocco goals.

Bright Esieme 7
Played at his more familiar right back position even though he struggled for pace especially in the first half.

Erhun Obanor 7

He was effective and not overwhelmed by the big occasion.

Azubuike Egwuekwe 8
The big man again proved his class in the heart of the back four. He took responsibility and exuded confidence.

Kunle Odunlami 7

Another competent display, his timing was superb and ensured the defence regained its shape after the confusion of the first half.

Ugonna Uzochukwu 7
His goal early in the second half sparked off the Nigerian comeback. He was also full of running.

Shehu Abdullahi 7

He has embedded himself in the first team since he got his chance and he has not looked back ever since.

Rabiu Ali 9

He asserted himself fully in this clash, lifting the other players even when it looked like the battle had been lost. He took his third goal very well too.

Ejike Uzoenyi 9
Another top-class showing capped by the dying minute equaliser. European clubs will most certainly be on his hot chase after what he has shown at CHAN.

Gbolahan Salami 6
Enthusiastic but could not deliver on the day.

Ifeanyi Ede 6

You cannot fault his work rate, but as the team’s main striker he ought to have done a lot more in this game.

Barnabas Imenger 6
Yet another substitute appearance, but he has done enough to start the next game with his hunger, good positioning and movement.

Aliyu Ibrahim 6

He overcame a poor outing in the opening game versus Mali to grab the winner.  A far more promising showing.

Umar Zango 5

Late sub who was deployed to tighten the defence as Morocco stayed in attack.
