A new twist has emerged as regards the playing future of Gbenga Arokoyo, with some websites reporting that the former Kwara United is destined to leave Mjallby.
Thomas Andersson Borstam , who previously worked at Mjallby, has denied the speculations which was first published by Swedish media.
Speaking to a Danish source, he said : “It becomes generally much speculation down in our latitudes, the geographical proximity of the clubs and I spent eleven years in Mjallby as head coach and sporting director.”
Adding to his previous statement, Borstam said :
“I fully understand the speculation, I knew it would come up. But that’s three or four players at this point as being on the way from Mjallby here to Kalmar, and yet has no one in there.”
