Abimbola warn Prime players, as team go on 5-Day break......Line up friendly matches with Giwa, Kwara Utd

Prime Football Club, chief coach, Abimbola Samuel, has warned his wards to preserve their form and fitness as the team embarked upon 5-Day break.


The former Sunshine Stars International Football Club of Akure, gaffer is concerned with the well-being of his newly assembled squad.

Abimbola, who spoke through the club spokesman, Tunde Shamsudeen, enjoined the players not to get carried away with their recent form.

 The Omoluabi Giants Saturday morning officially took a break from training and will return to action on Wednesday January 29, 2014.

The team took a break for the players to refresh after the kick off date of the Nigeria National League was postponed till February 15, 2014.

However, the club management led by former NFF scribe, Chief Taiwo Joseph Ogunjobi, is planning two friendly matches for Prime FC.

The club management are striving towards ensuring adequate preparation and they have highlighted the need for a high-class friendly matches ahead of the league kick off.

 Prime will lock horn against Giwa FC of Jos and Kwara United FC of Ilorin at their adopted home ground, Soun Township Stadium, Ogbomosho.
