Bayelsa United in financial mess

Confederation Cup campaigners, Bayelsa United's chances of participating in the second class club competition of African Football might turn out to be in dangers, following financial melt down rocking the club.

Although there have been assurances from the state government of its readiness to bankroll the club's participation.

Speaking with reporters after the disappointing three-nil loss to Enyimba FC in the ongoing Super Four tournament in Abuja, head coach of the club Isah Ladan Bosso said that the situation became unbearable, with the club yet to clear the new players they hope to join them.
