Felix Magath, a former Bayern Munich gaffer  believes the Bavarians have the financial muscle to swoop for  Barcelona talisman Lionel Messi.

But Magath feels Bayern are also capable and told a German Magazine: "Signing Messi is possible. If Bayern wins the Champions League again, it would be an interesting club for him to go to.
