Nigeria Women Premier League (NWPL) team Osun Babes resumed training on
earlier in the week in preparation for the commencement of the 2014
season.
The team under the tutelage of Johnson Kehinde welcomed the old and new players to camp in Oshogbo.
Speaking to futbalgalore.blogspot.com just after Wednesday's training session, team assistant coach Liadi Bashiru pointed out that the technical crew hopes to start off the preparations well so that by the time the league resume, they will not have to start from scratch, and he is confident that the team will do well in the Premier League.
“We all hope for good preparation for the league because we are looking forward to a good one”, he said.
The team trained without captain Esther Elijah, who is in Falconets camp, Elizabeth Zirike and Aminat Alani, who are set to hit Abuja on Sunday for Super Falcons duty.
Team management pledged their total support for the team, coaches and urged them to justify the financial input of his excellency, Governor Rauf Aregbesola.
