Kano Pillars striker Gambo Muhammed has said that his side will take the week-37 tie against Dolphins "like a final match".
Emphasizing on the importance of the encounter, Gambo said a win against Dolphins will destine them to retaining the title, noting that he and his teammates hopes to approach the match "like a do or die affair".
The CHAN2014 invitee is expected to play a vital role in the Sai Masu Gida warriors bid to retain the Glo Nigeria Professional Football League title termed the Wednesday clash as more important than any other matches they have played this season.
The Nigerian international maintained despite absent on the first-leg meeting in Port-Harcourt, 2014 CHAN invitee that Pillars is highly motivated and boosted psychologically fit on picking the vital win against a "tough" Dolphins.
While revealing the success behind the club's performance this season, Gambo cited the team's long standing understanding within the players in the last three-year while playing together as a key factor in the club's success.
He assured the supporters of the club, that he and his teammates are fully focused on retaining the title and desperate on consolidate on the league leading position.
Speaking on his terrible miss against Spain at the 2013 FIFA Confederation Cup in Brazil, the Kano-born playmaker admitted it was a bad moment though insisted he was very unlucky but believes he still merit a place in the national team.
"As for a player, you will always have your bad and good day, it was a bad day for me, i was not lucky that day but i still deserve to play for the national team," he noted.
