Ikeleji: ABS Will Go Home Empty-Handed





Gombe United defender John Bello Ikeleji has promised his former team ABS FC hell when they face each other in the Nigerian National League at the Pantami Stadium on Monday.


The player who stated this after his team 3-2 loss to Papilo FC in the Federation Cup round of 64 noted that the defeat will aid the Savannah Scorpions to improved on their performance against ABS.

"The NNL has finally come and we are set to play all our matches with all seriousness and win our games convincingly and ABS FC will be the first victim. We will definitely get our three maximum points against them and use it as a signal to teams in our group of what to expect when they face us, Bello begins.

"Our target is to get promoted to the Nigeria Premier League (NPFL) as soon as possible and the only way of achieving this is by winning all our games. With God on our side, our first game against ABS FC will be an easy and successful one, and a game of launching our dream of playing in the apex league next season, he said.

At the end of the 2013/14 season, Gombe United, Nembe City, Kaduna United and Crown FC of Ogbomosho all relegated to the NNL.
