Eagles gaffer welcomes criticism

Super Eagles Coach, Stephen Keshi treaded on the side of caution when answering questions about Nigeria's hope of beating Bosnia-Herzogivina in the Eagles' next game at the World Cup.

Keshi, whose Eagles got off to a dour start drawing 0-0 with Iran, told the Guardian,“I’m not God, I’m just the coach," when asked about his team's chances in their next game.

The Big Boss like Keshi is fondly called has been roundly criticized in Nigeria over the Eagles poor start with Nigerians questioning his tactics and technical competence but Keshi insist he is not bothered.

"Criticism is part of the game. We don’t always have patience, we don’t always understand football. In my country people want to win all the time and they don’t understand that it doesn’t always work that way,” he said.

The Eagles, who returned to full training today, are scheduled to take on Bosnia-Herzegovina on Saturday where a win will brighten heir chances of progressing from group F and seal Bosnia ouster from the World cup.
