Kaduna United hitman wants out, clubs in talks with him

After scoring 5 times for cash strapped Kaduna United, six Glo NPFL teams are in the race to sign Samuel Agba.

A free signing from Bayelsa in the off season, the big man has taken the league by storm including scoring a set of well taken brace against league defending Champions Kano Pillars.

In a Chat with SL10 his adviser and youth team coach Gabriel Obaje said the possibility of Agba dumping Kaduna United is high due to the interest in his services.

"At the moment six clubs wants him, but Pillars and Enugu Rangers are the most serious among other teams like Gombe United, Lobi Stars and Sunshine Stars," the coach mentioned.

"It's almost impossible for him to remain with Kaduna United due to the level of interest in his services but at the end we will help him decide which is best for his career."

When SL10 sought to know from the coach if Kaduna United financial situation is behind the player's reason of wanting to leave, he remained coy saying.

"It's not all about money all the time, the player's career needs to be looked after as well, his continuous development will be key in our decision if he is to leave Kaduna United."

Agba started his career with grassroots team Moderate FC before joining NNL Spotlite Fc of Katsina, a failed move to Kwara United made him spent another season with Spotlite.

Last season he was a part of the Bayelsa United team which finish third on the NPFL table but he was released before the start of this season where he now has 5 goals for Kaduna United.
