Enugu Rangers supremo queries Ejike's World Cup exclusion

Enugu Rangers CEO, Paul Chibuzor, could not hide his disappointment over the omission of the poster boy of the Flying Antelopes, Ejike Uzoenyi from the list of 23 -man squad to represent Nigeria's National Team at the World Cup.

The 2014 African Nations Championship standout player was one of the seven players dropped by Super Eagles boss, Stephen Keshi, when the list was made public late on Monday night.

''I am not one of the Super Eagles officials but I believe in the Nigeria Premier League, Ejike Uzoenyi is the only natural left footer we have, and I am of the opinion that he should have been selected for the World Cup.

''Ejike works very hard, he likes to play all the time, and takes football as a business.

''They should have a rethink  because he is supposed to be in that squad. I don't know if this final squad can be changed,'' Paul Chibuzor told SL10.ng.

Mamelodi Sundowns bound Ejike Uzoenyi got high ratings in the last friendly against Scotland , and it's remains a mystery as to why he did not get Keshi's World Cup squad.
