Ambrose: Keshi's criticism is not fair

Super Eagles defender, Efe Ambrose, has absolved Coach Stephen Keshi of any blame in the 0-0 draw with Iran, insisting they as players let the coach down.
Ambrose told SL10 that criticism about their coach hurt the players because they didn't help his cause against Iran.
"Have read so many things after our draw against Iran and I feel very sad and unhappy about the way our coach has been criticised, he did his best in preparing us for the game but we disappointed him on the pitch"
"No player among us deserve a praise for failing Nigerians because we are a team not individuals, and if Nigerians are sad over our draw, the blame lies on all of us collectively,no one should be exempted"
However. Ambrose assured Nigerians that they will give them a reason to smile in their next game against Bosnia.
"By the grace of God,our next game will be better, it's a norm sometimes your first game is the hardest game without am not promising a victory over Bosnia but am assuring Nigerians they will smile on Saturday"
"Our fans don't deserve pain at all,we are more than determine to give them a reason to dance on Saturday".
Efe Ambrose who was on for 90 minutes in the draw against Bosnia also assured Nigerians that the defence will cope with or without the injured Godfrey Obaboana.
"I hope he makes it,not just because of the game but for his career sake,he is a close friend off the pitch as well but if he can't play we have capable hands who are ready to fill in his void, for instance Emmanuel Emenike missed the Nations cup final but we won
"That should prove to our fans that we have ready replacement for any regular who is suspended or injured"
