Juanfran's ban revoked for Bracelona

The Spanish Professional League’s Competition Committee have accepted Atletico Madrid’s appeal against Juanfran’s yellow card at the weekend.


The defender was booked in the 53^rd minute against Malaga last Saturday for a supposed foul on Antunes.

The yellow card was Juanfran’s fifth of the season, meaning he would miss the crucial top of the table clash against Barcelona this weekend.

However, the panel have agreed with the capital side’s appeal and have decided to overturn referee Teixeira Vitienes II’s decision.
