Confluence Queens Supporters Club supremo, Honourable Moses Nagogo Bako
was full of joy and happiness after the handing over of the equipments
needed to cheer the Lokoja Queens to victory in the 2014 Nigeria Women
Premier League, due to kickoff on 15th February.
Various musical instruments were handed over to about 100 Queens followers, who were motivated by the generous gesture of Kogi State Governor Idris Wada, through the Sole Administrator, Mallam Abdul Adama.
"This is a welcome development, the first of it kind, I have always told those who cares to listen that the sole administrator will be the best in the history of Kogi State Football.
Bako, appealed to the media, stakeholders, fans and well meaning people of Kogi to be a part of the success story of Santana's girls by filling up the stadium on match days.
"I want us to have an avenue to create more awareness to have more people come to the stadium. A classic example was seen in the Soweto Derby. I think we can get fans to fill up the 25000 seater Confluence Stadium.
The die hard football supporter, manager, politician and advocate of the game was appreciative to the Governor of the state and some club officials.
"I'm speechless and don't know how to express my feelings but what I will say is a big gratitude to his excellency Governor Idris Wada, Mallam Abdul Adama, David Owolabi and Abdul Sule," he disclosed to futbalgalore.blogspot.com
