Ashdod of Israel and Eagles defender, Juwon Oshaniwa has revealed that he is far from disappointed for not being part of the invited players for this weekend’s match against Chad in the AFCON qualifiers.
The 24-year-old was part of Nigeria’s World Cup campaign and subsequent Afcon qualifier months after but was left out by returnee Coach, Stephen Keshi for the 2013 Champions attempt at another title.
Oshaniwa told www.footballlive.ng that he was certain of his abilities and understood the decision to invite players for national assignments was the coach’s prerogative.
“I can’t be disappointed because I know I’m good enough to play any other day and I am confident in my abilities. It’s up to the coach to invite whosoever he wants to execute any game with and those reasons are entirely his responsibility not mine..”
