Deputy General Secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation, Dr. Emmanuel Ikpeme, has charged the Super Falcons to go all out against Australia when they confront each other in their second Group D match on Friday.
Ikpeme, who arrived Winnipeg Thursday evening, came straight to the team's evening training and said he was happy to see the players, coaches and officials in good health and that nothing but a win against the Aussies would suffice.
"I drove straight from the airport so that I can see you girls in training. I watched your first match and it was a very good match. I just said let me come and say hello to you all here. You all are doing well and we are proud of you," he stated.
"I know you girls are set for Friday's game and I believe you will put smiles on the faces of Nigerians by coming out victorious. We are all solidly behind you and believe you can do it so go all out for the three points at stake," Ikpeme charged.
