Stanley Okoro want national team action

Stanley Okoro has appealed to the national selectors to look in his way in the preparation for Brazil 2014.

The former Heartland attacking midfielder has been in fantastic form for Bulgaria outfit Cherno More since his loan move from LIGA BBVA side UD Almeria.

He has scored one goal and contributed 7 assists for the Bulgarian team.

Okoro told futbalgalore.blogspot.com that he will keep performing well to lift the team and get the attention of Super Eagles coaches as he hopes to return to the national team fold.

“I am very happy with the way I am playing and setting-up my team-mates in a new role my coach assigned to me. I will keep doing that to help my team do well and possibly earn a call to play for Nigeria again,” Okoro said.

“I have played for the U17 and U20 team and the experience was good, so I am hoping to play for the senior side. I believe if I continue doing well here, I will get my chance.”

The player fondly called Little Messi by his admirers also stated his desire to return to Spain and make a statement for Almeria.

“As soon as the season is over here, I will return back to my parent club and continue with the project they have for me,” he concluded.
