Izuchukwu Amos was happy with his performance in a 45-minute spell for
Remo Stars on Wednesday, despite his side's 2-1 defeat to Sunshine Stars.
Amos pulled off magnificent saves to deny the rampaging Sunshine Stars strikers, no wonder he wasn't beaten.
The goalkeeper, who was in goal in the first half was widely praised for his showing and declared himself content with his efforts.
"I am happy with my performance," the keeper told futbalgalore.blogspot.com. "Tactically they were very good and made the most of our mistakes. They are a team that deserve respect.
"We have many areas to improve and we need to take advantage of the short time we have together. I'll keep doing my job and help my team to gain promotion to the elite league.
Preparations are in top gear in the ranks of Remo Stars, as the club plan to pick one of the available promotion slots in the Pool B of the NNL, after they narrowly lost out to Crown FC and Abia Warriors last season.
