Real Madrid reached the Copa del Rey quarterfinals with a 2-0 win over Osasuna.
Cristiano Ronaldo, who won his second Ballon d'Or on Monday, was fortunate to see his free-kick slip through goalkeeper Andres Fernandez's grasp.
Angel di Maria doubled the lead with a low finish before Gareth Bale replaced Ronaldo in the 68th minute.
Real coach Carlo Ancelotti said: "They tried to start the match with intensity and pressing hard up front, but after Ronaldo's goal made it difficult for them. We controlled the match well from the start and the team was focused on the field. The match was not that difficult, mainly because we did a good job defensively."
