Police Machine attacker grateful to Okon for call-up


Born in Lagos, Abosede Toriola came through the ranks on the streets before she was snapped up by Police Machine. She is a key player alongside fellow invitee Ayomide Ojo in Police female side.
 
She is one of 30 players invited for the crucial Namibia 2014 African Women Championship qualifiers against Sierra Leone in Abuja and Freetown respectively.
 
The lanky forward hopes to learn and praised the impact of Edwin Okon.

“I’m believe that I will be in the camp to learn from some of the best in the country and above all a good coach in Edwin Okon and I’m keen to show what I can achieve with the squad.”

She expressed gratitude to the Rivers Angels gaffer for the opportunity to showcase her talent.

''I didn't expect this new year surprise, it's something a cherish so much.  My gratitude to Edwin Okon for this rare chance,'' she told futbalgalore.blogspot.com on Tuesday.

''The main focus right now is showing determination and discipline when we regroup in Abuja on Sunday.
