Okon: World Cup ticket is non-negotiable

Super Falcons head coach Edwin Edem Okon has expressed optimism that the team he is building will not only do very well at the African Women's Championship (AWC) in Namibia but will qualify for the World Cup.

The Flying Eagles will face Abuja Football College in another tune-up match on Wednesday morning at the FIFA Goal Project in Abuja. The match will kick off at 7.30am.

Nigeria striker Anthony Ujah grabbed the headline as he netted his 2nd goal in 3 games for Cologne when they won 3-1 against 14th-placed VFL Bochum on Monday in the Germany Bundesliga 2.

Metropolitan Professional League: Bridge FC, Bolowotan FC renew rivalry as Apapa Golden Stars ambush 36 Lion FC

Bridge Football Club and Bolowotan FC will renew age-long rivalry as both sides square up in Week 9 tie at the Agege Stadium, on Wednesday.
